Management Board of Prima Moda S.A. after a preliminary financial analysis for the last quarter of 2009 indicates that the forecast financial performance of the Company (available at www.primamoda.com.pl) was carried out in the field of sales at a level exceeding 43 million zł. Operating profit is estimated at around minus 1.9 million zł. Significant impact on the financial results of Prima Moda S.A. had a growth rate of EURO, which gave rise to the rental costs of premises and the lower than expected gross margin on sales. These factors have a direct impact on the viability of extending the period of stores opened in 2009. In addition, the financial result is affected by investment, marketing, promoting and positioning the brand Prima Moda at consumer market. The result of these activities is to increase brand awareness, 60% increase in sales compared to 2008 and gaining regular customers in the wider target group.
In the opinion of the Management Board measurable financial benefits of the measures taken and activities carried out consistently, would bee seen in subsequent accounting periods.
